Armando Hernandez is a designer, and project leader with more than 24 years of experience delivering innovative architectural solutions across a diverse range of project types, including experimental design, master planning, educational facilities, commercial developments, and custom residential projects. His work is guided by the belief that architecture is a lifelong pursuit of learning, exploration, and refinement.

He earned his Master of Architectural Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London in 2003, where he studied under the direction of renowned architect Sir Peter Cook. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University in 2002.

Throughout his career, Armando has established a reputation for translating visionary concepts into highly detailed and buildable solutions. His expertise encompasses every phase of project delivery, from conceptual design and planning through construction documentation, multidisciplinary engineering coordination, municipal approvals, permitting, and on-site construction administration. He is recognized for his ability to lead complex projects with precision, ensuring that ambitious design goals are realized with exceptional quality and attention to detail.

Having traveled extensively and lived abroad, Armando draws inspiration from a broad range of cultures, environments, and architectural traditions. These experiences have deepened his understanding of how people interact with space and have shaped his commitment to creating environments that are both visually compelling and responsive to the human experience. His global perspective informs a design approach that balances creativity, functionality, and cultural sensitivity.

A native of Los Angeles, Armando’s passion for design extends beyond architecture. From an early age, he immersed himself in Southern California’s automotive and motorcycle culture, restoring, rebuilding, and customizing vehicles. This hands-on experience cultivated a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, engineering, materials, and the relationship between design and construction. The principles he learned through fabrication and mechanical design continue to influence his architectural work, reinforcing his commitment to thoughtful detailing, technical excellence, and purposeful design.
